HIIT: How To Save Money and Get Fit
HIIT = High-intensity interval training
HIIT- These days, everyone wants to be physically fit. However, we are always too busy to go to the gym. Many others believe that going to the gym is a waste of time and money. In addition, it can be costly to set up a home gym. What people don’t realize is they can keep themselves fit just at home without the expensive equipment as well.
How Do You Do It?
You can create many workout routines to do at home with just their body weight. Your body itself is a weight resistant that can do wonders to help your physical fitness. There are many simple exercises that can do great things for your body. Another benefit of these exercises is that they do not focus on one area specifically. You will be putting your whole body through a serious workout that can help you tone your body and be fit. This is known as functional training.
High Intensity – Functional
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is extremely popular these days. A simple Google result will get you many articles that tell you about HIIT. Simply put, HIIT requires short bursts of high-intensity workouts combined with low intensity/rest sessions over a 30-minute period.
Combining HIIT with functional training will give you an extreme workout. Set out time from your busy schedule, download any HIIT timer app, set up the interval times and design your routine.
Here are some of the many simple exercises that you can use in your HIIT/Functional training routine:
The classic push-ups is one of the many ways you can improve your upper body strength. One single push-up., if done correctly, works out six different muscles. If you feel that this is boring, then try out the many different variations in your routine.
A plank seems like a simple and easy exercise that may have no effect. If this is how you feel, you may not be doing it right. Planks are helpful in improving your core body strength. Start of with a 20-second plank and work your way up. Challenge yourself!
If you do not know what a burpee is, stop everything you are doing. This is one of the most effective full-body exercises (and torture) you can put yourself through. A burpee consists of several movements that, if performed correctly, can work out your entire body.
A jump rope is not just a fun activity that kids used to do. A simple jump rope can change your home workout routine and help you burn fat faster than you can think. Jump roping is a useful exercise to your home routine. A jump rope doesn’t cost much and can be challenging as well as fun. Mix up your routine with different jumping styles and you can rack up your calorie burn.
Staying fit does not require an expensive gym membership and high tech equipment. All you need is your body and a little time at home to set up a complete workout routine. You can gain control of your physical fitness by creating a routine that provides you with the workout you need. Don’t forget to warm up before and after your routine. Your body will thank you!
